Rehabilitation
Services
People often ask what, why, and how questions about Rehabilitation Services.
An easy way to think about these questions - and the answers - is to understand that when a seniors condition prevents him or her from being safely discharged from hospital to home right away, a form of inpatient rehabilitative care is usually necessary.
1
Clear and Honest
-
One of the reasons St. Ann’s ranks as a five-star, award-winning senior care facility in West Michigan is our honesty and clarity about Rehabiliation Services.
-
We promise to outline for you, in plain language, the Rehabilitation Servies we can provide. We vow to be just as clear about insurance coverage, and your living arrangement options once rehab is complete.
2
Progress Counts
-
Our entire Rehabilitation Services program is built on the promise to give you one-to-one, personalized therapy services that are based on each person’s goals and indivudalized needs.
-
People may need short-term rehab following an orthopedic surgery (like a hip or knee replacement), following a stroke or cardiac survery, or after a stroke.
-
In each case, our entire clinical team will provide a full evaluation before a transfer to St. Ann’s, and a dynamc and focused set of options for after therapy - even including conversations about any modifications at home that will help a person be as comfortable and able as possible to live the life they want.
